Taiwan Trip (Taipei) Day 1

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG, we finally reached Taiwan, Taoyuan Airport. To be honest, throughout the flight, I didn't sleep much. The chair was not very comfy, but its cheap, so suck it. :) When we reach the airport, the first thing to do, was locating free wifi. HAHAHAS, replying messages, to my loves ones and close ones, that i'm fine. Next, to find SIM card, but none of the shops were open! We will stopped by this uncle (who drive merz), telling us that cab fare from here to ximending only 1000NTD, but its too expensive! So we rejected his offer.

We went to take a bus, about 1.5 hours, to Taipei Main Station A. Cost about 125NTD. (cheap). The journey was rather far, but finally we reached our stop, the last stop. Nobody knows that's the stop actually. We were ALL VERY BLUR and CONFUSED. hahahahs. Thank god, we reached our stop!!

We wanted to get the EasyCard (EZ-Link card) at Taipei Main Station, but the counter assistant said that if you purchase from Ximending station, can be refunded at the end of the day, but not at Taipei Main Station. So we purchased the single journey ticket, which is a cute blue token! So cute! Can tap like a normal card. hahahah. We were impressed by this. (Random) Hah!

We, three of us, were super stupid that day. HAHAHAHA. We practically forgot the existence of the lift. lol. We dragged our luggage, carried through the stairs, up and down, all the way to our Taipei Dreamhouse Hotel, which is about 10mins walking distance from the Exit 6. (I bet many people were laughing at us, but thankfully, our luggage were light, 5kg)

Tada Ximending!!! Here we are!!!

I got to say... HAHAHAH, looks can be deceiving. (I didn't took much photos of the hotel, only snapchats) The outer view of the hotel is a 100% don't look like a hotel or motel even. LOL. Most joker thing is the LIFT. The lift has a maximum capacity of 3 person. & it's really only able to fit 3 person. So, 3 of us with our luggage is the max, THE MAX. hhahaha, we were laughing about the lift. Seriously, joke of the day. This is the first time I saw the smallest and cutest lift ever! I'm like, how come you don't want go in, got space right? Sidi was like, thats the end. LOL. hahahahs, joke la joke. We even took the wrong level. LOL. Check in was 3pm, and we reached at 8am, so we placed our luggage at the storage area at B1. THE HOTEL IS REALLY VERY SMALL I SWEAR. LOL. But the hotel is really cheap, so yup, but its clean. :)

A joke or what. We simply reached Taiwan TOO EARLY. None of the shops were opened except convenient stores. We went to all the 7-11, there all said that the SIM Cards were sold out! We need some wifi/internet man! We were like roaming around the streets and alleys, taking random photos, exploring Ximending (that is so empty and quiet). There's simply nothing we can do. Lol. We were finding food, our breakfast especially! Thank god, Yong He shop was opened!

The soya bean drink is really niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, the bacon egg thingy (like some prata) is nice too!!!!!! Thank god, Taiwan has so many awesome food around. & its affordable too! Long queue too. It's really famous. Recommended to eat this please!!!!

End up, we went to watch a movie, Mission Impossible 3, 200NTD. Expensive, but kills time. We were too tired, and we slept in the cinema.............. & I missed some exciting part of the movie. It's really a great movie I should say. (I'm guilty, so I'm going to watch it online again) & that's sum up the half day of it. Yay! When we came out of the cinema, all the shops were open!!!! :)

We went to this Far East Tone, to purchase SIM Card. Initially we wanted to get this 3.2G data plan for usage of 5 days, NTD 500. But they said that they require our NRIC, which is really weird, lol, I mean I thought passport is our NRIC? O well~ We still managed to get this unlimited data plan, same cost, till 15 Aug, thanks to the assistant guy! He was shocked that we are staying in Taipei for 5 days! (there's nothing much here, I guess?) & YEAHHH, THERE'S FINALLY INTERNET FOR US!!!!!!! WHATSAPP REPORT SAFETY. HAHAHA. XX IS SAFE IN TAIWAN, WITH INTERNET!!!!! CAN USE GPS, WOOHOOOO, NOT LOST ANYMORE!!! (Ximending is really freaking big, with all the streets and alley, so confusing.....)

Went to have Ya Rou Pian for lunch. I swear, its rather nice but too oily!!!!

Walking around, waiting to pass time, we came to Ximen Mango Shaved Ice, to have our 1st dessert of the day, Mixed fruit shaved ice, 200NTD. ITS REALLY BIGGGGGGGGG AND NICEEEEEE, NICER THAN SINGAPORE SHAVED ICE. :) So satisfied! Thanks Jacelyn being our photographer!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Ximending too big. Xiao lost hahahaha. And so, we went to 淡水老街. Even though the Metro map looks far, but actually its quite fast and accurate. The train is like zooom~~~ After alighting tamsui metro, we took a bus (26, 836, 837, I can't remember which we took).

Look at the lovely scenery @ Tamsui !!!!! The plants and flowers are REALLY beautiful. Thank god by the time we reach there, is about 3-4pm+++??

I think this is rather cool, like how drama always show, write your message to the wooden piece and your wishes will come true. (But one wooden piece was 100NTD, so quite expensive)

Walking up, they called it the Lovers Bridge, where you get to see the sunset (most clear and beautiful in Taipei I guess)?

Below the bridge is the fisherman boat, and other ships ready to leave Tamsui.

While waiting for the Sun, we grab some ice-cream!! Nom Nom.

While waiting for the Sun to set down........ Sky starting to turn beautiful, slowly.

Tada, SUNSETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Its beautiful. Like an egg yolk dissolving into the deep sea. Others always said, when watching such beautiful scene, is always with your love ones (that's why its called Lover's Bridge), but, why can't single do so too, plus with my great awesome friends watching this beautiful natural scene!

Cafe at this area? The bear so cuteeeeeeeeeee!! Dropping anytime off the chair. LOL.

Awwwww. The wall is dam cuteeeeeee. Look at the zhuzhu and meow meow!!!! Snapping photos with the wall like a retarded. #tiojudged #3siaogirls #tourists

After that we went to tamsui lao jie, "night market", I guess? Hahahahhahas. I remembered we went to get Papaya milk and roaming around the street, eating this spicy xiang chang (not bad!!), bought some hua cha for my mum. The service is good, real friendly. Last but not least, we went to eat this ji dan juan (i think....). Didn't took much photos since it was dark already, around 7-8+.

And that's all for today! Limited memories, since I blogging after few months later due to busy school.
